About WA Refuelling Solutions.
Our philosophy – delivering solutions
We are a service company providing real solutions for you, not just a power generation rental company supplying equipment.
We pride ourselves in getting to know your needs fully. We typically analyse a number of important points before we finalise a custom-designed solution, for no two solutions to a power supply need are usually the same.
For instance, there may be different load requirements or service intervals. Profile forecasts, and transport restrictions can vary, as can fuel consumption needs and operational ease.
Only by considering the appropriate issues, from the benefit of experience and industry knowledge, will we ensure the best solution for you. We find this ensures we generate that world of difference for you, and keeps us ahead of our competition.
Whether our difference comes from our excellent equipment, our assurance to service, our accessibility, or our years of knowledge, you'll be certain of your choice when you select WA Refuelling Solutions.
We employ about twenty people, all for their knowledge and customer-orientation, and we operate from three bases: Welshpool in Perth, Karratha and Kalgoorlie.
Being a locally owned business, we're contactable 24/7, but we're large enough to cope with any requirement that you have in the power generation and climate control arena.
Our people
The people that operate from our three bases in Perth, Karratha and Kalgoorlie are locals, with close involvement in the area, with established networks and local knowledge.
We know how important local connection is, and we encourage staff to participate in issues pertinent to the area in which they operate. We also place strong emphasis on our people keeping their skills updated.
Technical ability is paramount in our staff, but beyond that, we ensure our staff fit with our problem solving culture. A team culture within WA Refuelling Solutions is vital, which means staff are naturally supportive of each other as individuals, whilst being seriously customer orientated also.
Being a small but dedicated team, our people need to be multi-skilled and conscientious, taking pride in seeing jobs through to their satisfactory conclusion. This is achieved through a balance between natural ability and skills development.
Our directors
Our two directors have over 40 years experience in the rental industry between them, and have been personally involved in a wide variety of power related projects.
This lengthy experience, combined with the genuine interest we have for our chosen field and for satisfying clients, ensures we provide the best advice about your individual power equipment needs.
We go that one step further. We take genuine pride in offering efficient and personal service on all projects, and our dedication to keeping up with the latest industry knowledge is a philosophy that filters down through to every corner of WARS. Our company-wide commitment really does generate a world of difference for you.
We also have extensive contacts throughout industry, so if you have an equipment requirement that is a little unusual, we will be happy to assist you in sourcing equipment and resources.
Meet some of our key personnel.
Michael Hebden, Director
With over 20 years experience in the equipment rental industry and 18 years with power generation equipment, there are few people who can demonstrate more practical knowledge in the field than Mike. He has experienced about all there is to become acquainted with in the power generation business, from supplying power to rock concerts and festivals, through to power stations for mine sites, and everything in between.
When Mike is not cheerfully working on clients' business, or attending to staff development and training, he oversees the sales, administrative and financial elements of running WARS.
Away from work, Mike's five growing grandchildren make healthy demands on his personal reserves of energy, but nothing that a good red and a few hours creating in the kitchen can't help to restore!
Mark Kindred, Director
As one of the two Directors of WARS, Mark fulfills the operational requirements of the WARS business by being responsible for equipment maintenance and equipment development roles. Mark is both the technical and logistical backbone of the company.
He also attends to the OH&S demands of the business, as well as project management, quality and stock control, maintenance programs and customer service.
With a restricted electrical license and extensive experience with power generation equipment, Mark's 20 years within the rental industry have proven extremely beneficial for the recent strategic growth of WARS.
Mark has an active social life with boating, jet skis and kite surfing amongst his passions.
Mel Gallagher, WA Sales Manager
As WARS Sales Manager, Mel is a valued member in both the local business community in which he is an active participant, and in the broader community of Kalgoorlie, where he is based.
Mel draws upon 10 years of work experience within the generator rental industry in his current role, responsible for the sales and rental sides of business across WA. Mel is especially focused on clients whose operations are based in the Pilbara region of WA, and in the Goldfields area where he is established.
Mel is a passionate sportsman with a highly regarded record in Australian Football and cricket in the Goldfields, and with a young family he certainly has his hands full.
